4Life Research™ is proud to announce Ángel Molina and Ivelisse López of Puerto Rico as the newest Platinum International Diamonds, the highest rank of achievement in the company.
Prior to 4Life, Ángel worked a variety of different jobs, but none provided his family with the security he desired. In 2002, Ángel and Ivelisse began their 4Life home-based business. Their experience was similar to many distributors: they started slow and struggled with a variety of challenges.

I thank God and Platinum International Diamonds Dr. Herminio Nevárez and Juan Rosado. Without them, it would have been impossible for us to succeed in this business.”
Vice President of Field Development Mark Petersen: “Like true leaders, Ángel and Ivelisse attribute their success to others around them. Their example teaches us that it is never too late to start.”
Ángel and Ivelisse have four children: eighteen-year-old Merari Molina Albaladejo; fifteen-year-old Anfernee Molina Albaladejo; five-year-old Ángel J. Molina López, and one-year-old Gabriela A. Molina López.

Introduction to Transfer Factor

While studying tuberculosis in the late 1940s, Dr. H. Sherwood Lawrence discovered that the immune competence of a donor could be transferred to a naive recipient by using low molecular weight extracts obtained from white blood cells. Dr. Lawrence called these small molecule extracts transfer factor (TF). If the thymus gland can be compared to grammar school and prep school, transfer factor can be compared to collegiate and graduate level training for the immune system. Scientists later found transfer factors to be universally effective, regardless of the differences between the species of the donor and recipient. This aspect of transfer factors is partly explained by this core scientific belief: the more essential a material or structure is to living organisms, the more common it is to see this material or structure throughout living systems. Transfer factors are essential components of even the most primitive immune systems.

One basic principle of the immune system is that it must be able to respond quickly and specifically, while not exhausting itself by over responding and attacking normal tissue. Transfer factor preparations consist of three identifiable fractions named by their discovered effects on the immune system. They are inducer, antigen specific and suppressor fractions. More recent understanding of immune function would rename the suppressor fraction as the regulator factor. The TF inducer fraction triggers a general state of readiness in the immune system. The antigen-speific fraction is an array of critical tags used by the immune system to identify a host of enemy microbes. Meanwhile, the regulator fraction keeps the immune system from focusing all its strength on a defeated infection and ignoring new microbial threats; it is responsible for controlling immune overreactions that can cause autoimmune disorders. Each fraction (inducer, antigen specific, and regulator) improves one or more aspects of the adaptive ability of the immune system.

Dr. Sherwood Lawrence, who was known as Jerry, was also an expert in infectious diseases, and his research generated other advances in immunology. Dr. Lawrence conducted research on the way the body rejects transplanted organs and how various conditions can damage tissue.
Dr. Lawrence was best known for his discovery, in 1949, of a substance known as ”transfer factor,” a product of T-lymphocytes, which play crucial roles in defending against a wide variety of infectious agents.
He named the product after showing that the type of immune response that lymphocytes could transfer to nonimmune animals could sometimes be transferred to enhance the body’s defenses.
Transfer factor is a small molecule, and it has been the center of scientific mystery, in part because Dr. Lawrence and other scientists were unable to identify it precisely. Some scientists suspect that transfer factor represents bits of many molecules.

”Although there was significant controversy surrounding transfer factor, Jerry doggedly pursued the concept of immune reconstitution that has become a very important field of immunology,” said Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Lawrence predicted many aspects of the functioning of lymphocytes and immune cells, and his work provided clues to the later discovery of immune substances known as cytokines.
Dr. Lawrence also identified a link between the way cells respond immunologically to microbes like the bacterium that causes tuberculosis and the type of immune responses involved in the rejection of transplanted organs, said Dr. Fred T. Valentine, an immunologist who worked with Dr. Lawrence at N.Y.U.
Henry Sherwood Lawrence was born in
Astoria, Queens. He graduated from New York University in 1938 and its medical school in 1943.
After a year’s internship, Dr. Lawrence served in the Navy in World War II as a medical officer aboard a number of ships. He participated in the Normandy invasion at Omaha Beach and in the invasions of southern France and Okinawa, Japan, and received Bronze Stars in each.
After the war, he completed his training as a specialist in internal medicine at New York University and joined its medical faculty in 1949.
In 1959, he became head of infectious diseases and immunology, a position he held until his retirement in 2000. He was co-director of medical services at Bellevue and New York University Hospitals from 1964 to 2000.
Dr. Lawrence was also director of N.Y.U.’s cancer center from 1974 to 1979, and director of its AIDS research center from 1989 to 1994.
Dr. Lawrence was the founding editor of the journal Cellular Immunology and a member of the National Academy of Sciences.

Wikipedia define Transfer factors as “immune molecules that cause antigen-specific cell-mediated immunity, primarily delayed hypersensitivity and the production of lymphokines, as well as binding to the antigens themselves. They have a molecular weight of approximately 5000 Daltons and are composed entirely of amino acids. Transfer factors were discovered by Henry Sherwood Lawrence.”
Transfer Factor molecules are completely unique. They contain
information that can be transferred from one immune system to another. That means that your body can borrow the immune education it needs to Recognize, Respond to, and Remember unwanted threats. 4Life Transferceutical™ Products truly provide the ultimate in immune system support.
4Life Transferceutical™ Products are unique, patented and cutting-edge—improve immune system function by up to 437%. A preliminary scientific test suggests that 4Life Transfer Factor® Tri-Factor® Formula strengthens your immune system guard by increasing the number of protective IgA antibodies.
When it comes to immune system research, 4Life took the lead in 1998 and never let go. We’ve created a new category of immune system research called Transferceutical ™Science. Our science is backed up with multiple patents – and studies that show a record-breaking 437% boost in immune cell activity.
